Country Club Manor is a small area of tract homes built between 1944 and 1945. The homes originally started as modest 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom, 1 bath properties on lot sizes around 5,200sf, but with a greater frequency of larger 6,000 – 8,000sf lots due to winding streets. Compared to Lakewood which is laid out in a linear fashion, making a large lot a rarity.
I mention Lakewood, because it is a very close comparison, with Country Club Manor. Country Club Manor homes might have a little more character, but after 60 years, both tracts have seen extensive remodeling and additions, so it will depend more upon how well the home has been maintained. The main difference between Lakewood and Country Club Manor would be the feel of the surrounding area. Country Club Manor has a much more eclectic City feel to the surrounding area, while Lakewood has a more suburban feel, with a more homogeneous feel.
