If you didn’t know Long Beach and by mistake ended up in Virginia Country Club, you would likely do a double take, because it feels like you just made a wrong turn and ended up in Beverly Hills. Well not completely, but pretty close. On the North end of Virginia Country Club is where the larger estates were built. There is no particular time when the homes were built, but on the north end they are all custom and the lots are usually about 12,000sf and up.
On the South end of Virginia Country Club, the the homes are still very nice, but lot size return to a more normal range, anywhere from 5,000sf to 9,000sf, with a good portion of lots in the 7,500sf range.
There is also the unique gated area of La Linda, which has its own unique charm and character. A few of these homes were built in the 1920’s with the balance being developed in the 1940’s. And of course there is Virginia Country Club, a private Golf Course with 4 tennis courts on the North end of the tract.
We invite your call, should you have any questions about the homes currently for sale or recently sold.
