Southern California for the most part has a big city feel. Seal Beach is exactly the opposite. Just a simple stroll down Main Street, past the the local hardware store, the local bike shop and you realize you have left the big city behind. There is the community feel, yet without the congestion that almost every other Southern California beach community has. Seal Beach has a small town feel that is hard to find, especially at the beach.
The community is older, yet that seems obvious with the moniker “Old Town”, as some homes were built in the 1910’s, but those are the exception, with more building staring in the 1940’s and 1950’s. But these original structures were very modest and have since been leveled and replaced with new homes typically around 3,000sf. The averages lot sizes are around 3,000sf, with some larger at 3,750sf and the rare lot at 5,000sf. If you are lucky enough to be along Ocean Ave, with an even number at the end of your address, then you face the beach and have an unobstructed view, and probably a good size yard opening to the beach. You just may have found heaven.
We invite your call, should you have any questions about the homes currently for sale or recently sold.
